World Series

I am ready to take my lumps for breaking tradition. I am always an AL guy but this year I have to get behind the Phillies!

I have two very good reasons.

The first is Chris Coste.

Born in Fargo, ND.
Tough as nails behind the plate.
Played 4 years for the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. We saw him play at Newman Field many times.

Played ball for and a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead.

The second reason is the obvious and unprofessional way that Buck and McCarver are pulling for the Rays.

Go Phillies.

Jack-O-Lanters and Homecoming 2008

We started the weekend at the Jack-O-Lantern Festival at Washington Park. This is the third year in a row for us.

Saturday we went to beautiful Greenfield, Illinois for the 10th annual Chili Festival where we were Chili judges!

Here I am tasting my favorite Chili, it had curry in it. I am a sucker for the exotics.
